I saw a school of stingrays just like this swim underneath me

One of my favourite places in the world. I have spent so many sessions out here and it is an amazing place in nature. The paddle out is from Cunjurong Point beach, just off the inlet to Lake Conjola. Its a long paddle 300m or so over deep water, when your out the back there is an amazing view back over the bush to Pigeon House Mountain.

The water is crystal clear and I have seen dolphins, birds and one time I  put my head under to see a school of thousands of stingrays swimming underneath me – on of the most incredible things I have seen in the ocean.

The wave itself is a long wally left hander, can get busy so often a wait in between waves, but when you get a good one it is sick wave.
